All Cases Of Flu In Georgia Are Considered As H1N1 Virus



Tbilisi. December 04 (Prime-News) – All cases of flu, revealed in Georgia, are considered as H1N1virus cases.

H1N1virus has replaced the typical seasonal virus.

Centre of Disease Control’s director Paata Imnadze has stated about it in an exclusive interview given to the Prime-News agency. As to him it is not counted the cases of the virus and laboratory analysis are not done in Georgia any more, as all cases of infections are the cases of H1N1 virus.

Nevertheless Imnadze underlined that there is no ground for panic. He advised to address a doctor timely in case of revealing symptoms of infection such as a high temperature and rapid breathing. Imnadze has also mentioned that health state of one of the patients is heavy. Fortunately, lethal results have not registered in Georgia yet.

Due to the Centre of Disease Control 271 cases of H1N1 virus registered in the country at present.
